Continuous Care

Work a recall list without anyone working the phone

You decide who needs calling. Joud Health calls, retries the misses, and records every outcome.

Your list
From the EMR or built by the clinic
Retried
A miss is attempted again, not written off
Reported
Every attempt has a recorded outcome

What Changes

How it goes without automation

  • Recall lists are built with good intentions and worked when there is a quiet afternoon.
  • There is rarely a quiet afternoon, so the list ages.
  • Most calls reach voicemail, and a second attempt depends on somebody remembering.
  • Nobody can say afterwards how much of the list was actually called.

How it goes with Joud Health

  • The list is worked on a schedule rather than when someone has time.
  • Calls that miss are retried on a ladder your clinic sets.
  • Patients who want to book are booked on the call rather than told to ring back.
  • Every attempt has an outcome, so coverage of the list is a number rather than a guess.

Step By Step

Your team
The clinic decides who to call
A list pulled from the EMR, or one your team assembles for a particular campaign. This step is yours, and it should be: which patients are due is a clinical judgement, not one to hand over.

The campaign runs on schedule
Configured per use case, with its own timing and its own wording, and a switch your team controls if it needs to stop.

Patients are called
In the clinic’s own wording, explaining why they are being contacted rather than opening with a generic script.

Misses are retried
No answer is not a result. The attempt is repeated on the ladder your clinic sets. That is the difference between a list that gets worked and one that only gets started.
Configurable
Joud Health
Booked, and the outcome recorded
A patient who wants an appointment is booked on the call. Every attempt, connected or not, ends with a recorded outcome.

What It Hands Off To

A point solution finishes its own job and stops. These workflows run on one platform and one EMR connection, so the end of one is the start of the next.

  • Booking

A patient who says yes is booked on the same call, against the same live schedule.

  • Confirmations And Reminders

An appointment made this way joins the reminder schedule, so a recall does not become a no-show.

  • Follow-Ups

Follow-ups run on the same outbound machinery, configured as a different use case.

Questions

Who decides which patients get called?
You do. The list comes out of your EMR or is built by your team, because deciding who is due for care is a clinical judgement. What is automated is the calling, the retrying, and the recording, which is the part that does not need a clinician.
Can we stop a campaign once it is running?
Yes, from the dashboard, and it takes effect on the next run rather than needing anyone to intervene per call. Outbound campaigns are the ones worth being able to stop quickly, so the control is deliberate.
What about consent and calling rules?
In the United States the TCPA governs automated calls, and the exemptions that matter to a clinic are the ones covering care: appointment reminders and confirmations, wellness checkups and post-discharge follow-ups, prescription notifications and lab result alerts, and pre-registration instructions. Campaigns are reviewed per clinic against what your own patients have consented to, rather than assumed to be covered. Canadian clinics work to CASL and the applicable provincial rules the same way.
Which outbound use cases are we safe to run?
The healthcare exemptions cover the recalls most clinics actually want: reminders and confirmations, wellness and post-discharge follow-ups, prescription and lab-result notifications, and pre-registration. Anything that reads as marketing rather than care sits outside them, which is why campaigns are set up with you rather than switched on by default.
